They will take a picture of you and fill a form with your weight, height, hair color and age. Once you complete all the necessary information leave in a polite and a pleasant way. If the casting director will like you, be prepared to be called to appear on the filming set. On the set stay in the areas allocated to the movie extras and act as professional as you can. Be sure to have on you several outfits, because the person who takes care of the extras will choose the best one. Also, take something to read because you will need it while waiting.

Here are some useful tips to consider while casting as an extra:

1. Do not walk through the set, stay where you were placed.
2. Listen to the instructions and be flexible.
3. Do not make noises while the camera is shooting, unless you were instructed to do so.
4. Do not jump in the front of the camera.
5. Do not disturb the director and do not take pictures of the stars.
